Triggers everywhere I turn. Logged on Instagram, someone was arrested for DV. Logged on TikTok, “story time of how I was married to an abusive narcissist.” Logged on Twitter and logged right off because it brings me memories of how my ex posted intimate pictures of me after doing his big one and hacking into my iCloud.
I don’t wish this kind of toxic relationship on anyone, not even the person I dislike the most in this whole wide world.
It’s time consuming: you will spend more time on a court’s zoom waiting room than actually speaking to the judge.
It’s energy consuming: you sigh at the sight of any notification because you think he is emailing you, calling you, or texting you obsessively again.
Word of advice, don’t date a narcissist. They will try to ruin your life just as much as they have ruined their own and fail. But they are the type to die trying.
